When I see Nashville, Phoenix and two teams in Florida (one would be enough)having teams and Qu?bec and Winnipeg not having a team anymore it makes me sick.
I just can't believe no one wants to play hockey! Maybe NHL is a thing of the past. I guess leagues like the WHL now have time to shine!
It does suck a lot that the Calgary Flames, one of those little teams with no money went so far last year, and they didn't get much for it because of the lock out. Even our team captain is a money grubber. Damn hockey players, go play damn hockey!!! [img]mad.gif[/img]
The expansion problem is a good reason I guess.
I mean Miami having a hockey team is an utter joke. Remember the fog in the Florida arena during the playoffs because it was 99 degrees outside, and the ice was not much more than slush?
as much as I like hockey, I say screw them all. pay them all the same salary of maybe a hundred k a year and let the real people that serve the public, like cops, medics, firefighters and teachers get paid a higher salary. in other words the world should get their priorities straight and the rich over paid cry babies of the world should relize that games are all they are.
sorry, get tired of the world of entertainment getting soooo over paid while the people that really try and contribute to society gets screwed.

Tell ya what is a joke. Hockey never figured out a way to market themselves properly. There lies the problem. Also NFL and NBA both have salary caps and those are the two most successful sports.
Baseball will soon get one. So hockey players have balls asking for more money when half of north america doesnt give a shit.
